DAY 1 ARRIVAL – PHNOM PENH
Welcome to Cambodia!
Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, your driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.

DAY 2 PHNOM PENH – CITY TOUR (B)
Breakfast at hotel.
Your local guide and driver will pick you up for a full-day exploration of Phnom Penh’s rich history and cultural landmarks. Begin at the Royal Palace, home to the Cambodian monarchy and renowned for its beautiful architecture and the famous Silver Pagoda, where the floor is lined with silver tiles.
Continue to the National Museum, which houses an impressive collection of Khmer art, including sculptures, ceramics, and ethnographic pieces that provide a deeper understanding of Cambodia’s ancient history.
Afterward, visit the Wat Phnom, the city’s namesake hilltop temple, offering panoramic views and insight into the capital’s spiritual side. Take time to admire the serene setting and the significance of this temple to local Buddhists.

In the afternoon, explore Cambodia’s more recent history with a visit to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21), a former school turned prison during the Khmer Rouge regime, offering a sobering reflection on Cambodia’s past. Continue to the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek, located just outside the city, where you will learn more about the atrocities committed during the Khmer Rouge era.

DAY 3 PHNOM PENH -> KRATIE -> KOH TRONG (B/D)

This morning, your local guide and driver will drive you to Kratie. Along the way, we’ll pass through Skun, a quaint town renowned for its delectable fried spiders. For the adventurous, this is an opportunity to savor a unique eight-legged snack—best enjoyed by cracking the body open and pulling off the legs, much like crab!
Upon reaching Kratie, a charming town nestled along the banks of the Mekong River, you’ll notice its historical significance as a once-thriving trading port between Phnom Penh and Stung Treng. The remnants of French colonial architecture stand as a testament to its past, with several buildings still intact from both the French colonial era and the Khmer Rouge period.

Next, we’ll board a local boat from the Kratie waterfront to the serene Koh Trong Island, home to approximately 280 families. Depending on the season and the Mekong River’s water levels, we may need to walk along a stretch of beach and then hop on local bikes to reach our destination. Koh Trong is famous for its pomelos—considered some of the best in Cambodia—as well as its rice and other agricultural products. Our homestay on the island offers a wonderful glimpse into everyday Cambodian life. The accommodations are basic, featuring multi-share facilities with mattresses, bedding, and mosquito nets provided. Underneath the house, a few hammocks are strung up, creating a scenic spot to relax and unwind.
In the late evening, we’ll enjoy a traditional-style dinner together and night at hotel in Koh Trong Island.
DAY 4 KOH TRONG -> KRATIE -> KAMPONG CHAM (B)

Your local guide will take you on a scenic 9km loop bike ride that encircles Koh Trong Island, immersing yourself in the beauty of traditional Khmer villages, fruit orchards, and lush rice fields. As you leisurely pedal through the picturesque landscape, take the opportunity to observe the daily rituals and routines of village life.
In the mid-afternoon, we will depart from Koh Trong Island and head to Kratie City. Upon arrival, stroll down the charming river boulevard, where you can soak in the tranquil atmosphere and enjoy the scenic views of the Mekong River.

After, we will continue our journey to the Kampi Reserved Center, where you’ll have the chance to see the rare and endangered Irrawaddy River dolphins in their natural habitat. Witness these gentle creatures swimming gracefully in the river, an unforgettable experience that highlights the unique wildlife of the region.
After, we will take a scenic 2.5 hours’ drive to Kampong Cham province.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel for the night.

DAY 5 KAMPONG CHAM -> SIEM REAP (B)

In the morning, your local guide and driver will take you on a visit to the ancient Angkorian temple of Wat Nokor, an impressive site that showcases the architectural brilliance of the Khmer Empire. Discover its unique blend of historical significance and serene beauty. Next, ascend Wat Phnom Bros Hill, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and explore the temple’s tranquil surroundings.
Continue your journey as you drive along the picturesque Koh Pen Island, witnessing the vibrant lives of the Khmer people who call this beautiful island home. Take in the lush scenery and the charm of traditional rural life, observing local activities as you pass through this enchanting area.

In the afternoon, you will continue your journey to Siem Reap, a scenic drive that takes approximately three hours.
Upon arrival in Siem Reap, check into your hotel for the night.

DAY 6 SIEM REAP – ANGKOR TOUR (B)
Breakfast at hotel.
Your local guide and driver will lead you through the beautiful Angkor Archaeological Park. Begin your journey at Angkor Wat, the crown jewel of the Angkor complex and one of the world’s most iconic landmarks. Marvel at the intricate bas-reliefs that adorn its walls, depicting scenes from Hindu mythology and the Khmer Empire’s glory days. Ascend the temple’s central towers for a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding countryside.
Next, venture into Angkor Thom, the ancient capital of the Khmer Empire. Explore the Bayon Temple, renowned for its enigmatic faces that gaze out from every direction. Continue your adventure at Ta Prohm, where ancient stone walls are entwined with lush vegetation, creating a mystical atmosphere.

In the afternoon, journey to the Terrace of the Elephants, a grand platform adorned with intricate carvings depicting scenes of royal life and religious ceremonies. Imagine the bustling activity that once took place on this terrace as elephants and their riders paraded before the king and his court. Then, explore the Royal Enclosure, a complex of temples and courtyards that once housed the Khmer kings. Discover the intricate architecture and symbolism of Phimeanakas and the Baphuon Temple, known for its impressive stone structures and intricate reliefs.
As the day draws to a close, ascend to the summit of Pre Rup Temple for a panoramic view of the Angkor complex bathed in the golden hues of sunset.

DAY 7 SIEM REAP – BOAT TRIP – BANTEAY SREI (B)

In the morning, driver and tour guide will take you to Kampong Phluk, a charming floating village located on the shores of Tonle Sap Lake. Upon arrival, board a traditional longtail boat for an unforgettable cruise through the tranquil waters, where you’ll glide past floating houses and vibrant local life.
As you navigate through the flooded forests, take in the stunning scenery and observe the daily activities of the villagers, from fishing to farming on the water. This unique experience offers a glimpse into the resilience of the community that thrives in this extraordinary environment.

After your boat trip, you will begin your journey to Banteay Srei, renowned for its exquisite pink sandstone carvings and intricate bas-reliefs depicting Hindu mythology. Explore this stunning temple, often referred to as the “Jewel of Khmer Art.”
Next, visit Banteay Samre, another remarkable temple featuring beautiful architecture and lush surroundings.
In the evening, your driver will take you back to your hotel.

DAY 8 SIEM REAP -> BATTAMBANG (B)

In the morning, your driver will pick you up for a scenic drive from Siem Reap to Battambang, a journey of approximately 170 kilometers, taking around 3 hours. Enjoy the views of Cambodia’s picturesque countryside as you pass through rural villages and lush farmlands.
Upon arrival in Battambang, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax.
In the evening, your driver will take you to the famous Battambang Bat Caves. Arrive at the base of Phnom Sampeauaround 4:00-5:00 PM to witness the spectacular sight of millions of bats emerging from the caves. As the sun sets, marvel at this natural phenomenon as the bats form a swirling cloud, heading out into the countryside.
After the experience, your driver will take you back to your hotel.

DAY 9 BATTAMBANG -> SIEM REAP (B)

In the morning, your driver will take you on a half-day tour of Battambang. Begin your day with a ride on the famous Bamboo Train, an open-air platform that glides through the stunning paddy fields and small Khmer villages.
Afterward, visit the Killing Caves, located at an Angkor-era temple atop Phnom Sampeau. Climb the 365 steps to explore the Wat Banan Temple, built in the 11th century, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

In the afternoon, embark on a 3-hour drive back to Siem Reap, passing through scenic landscapes.
Upon arrival in Siem Reap, your driver will drop you off at your hotel.

DAY 10 SIEM REAP -> SIHANOUKVILLE -> KOH RONG (B)
Breakfast at hotel.
Your driver will take you to Siem Reap International Airport for your domestic flight to Sihanoukville, a vibrant beach town on Cambodia’s coast. Upon landing, a driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the Sihanoukville Boat Docks.
There. aboard the ferry for a scenic ride to Koh Rong Island, a journey of around 45 minutes to an hour, with beautiful views of the crystal-clear waters.
Once on Koh Rong, enjoy the rest of your day at leisure—relax on the island’s pristine beaches, swim, or explore the local area.

DAY 11 KOH RONG – FREE DAY (B)

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and board the ferry for your return trip to Sihanoukville. Enjoy the scenic ride as you glide across the turquoise waters. Upon arrival at the Sihanoukville docks, your private driver will be waiting to take you back to Phnom Penh.
You will be taken directly to Phnom Penh International Airport to await departure for your following destination.
